Isa Khan’s Tomb

Isa Khan was a nobleman in the court of Sher Shah Suri, an Afghan to whom the Mughal emperor Humayun briefly lost his empire. Isa Khan’s tomb is located in the complex of Humayun’s tomb (see next post). We sketched there quite early in the morning when there few people were around. Remnants of blue tiles on the tomb added a touch of brightness to the brown stone.
